Provident Corporation today announced that the company received a patent for its unique RFID tag design in the US and in China, which technology is the base of its on-metal RFID tag, "Metal-Attach® MA11.".
The patented original configuration of RFID tag has a spacer along with an inlay in the tag, which enables to generate electromotive force. And its plastic case has a rime and a hinge, which enlarges margin to adhere and makes the tag easy to attach and difficult to get off.
Provident received a patent by this technology in Japan in 2012. As the "Metal-Attach® MA11" based on this patented technology is compliant with the international standard, the company decided to apply for a patent internationally, looking ahead to deploy its business globally.
After receiving the patent in Japan, Provident received a patent for the same technology in Korea in 2014. And also received a patent in 2016 both in the US and in China.
Taking this opportunity, the company plan to extend its business of "Metal-Attach®" series worldwide.
